  • 800 grams 1 whole chicken, marinated with lime juice and fried until half-cooked
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 cloves of garlic crushed
  • 1 onion diced (2 cm)
  • 2 red chilies deseeded and thinly sliced
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce kecap manis
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 150 ml water

  • Heat the margarine in a pan and sauté the diced onion, crushed garlic, and sliced chilies until fragrant.
  • Add the diced tomato, sweet soy sauce, salt, and ground pepper. Stir to combine the ingredients.
  • Add the half-cooked fried chicken and pour in the water. Stir well to coat the chicken with the sauce.
  • Simmer the chicken in the sauce until the flavors meld, and the sauce thickens.
